Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders, and Hillary Clinton

I'm finding that many of my friends who would have supported Elizabeth Warren (as I would) have chosen Hillary over Bernie. To me, Bernie's positions are more closely aligned to Warren than Hillary's.

Is it a gender thing?

Elizabeth Warren stands for progressive principles, but plays politics under the rules that exist. If she were running for President, she wouldn't be afraid to raise the money she'd need, from the people who could provide it.

If you're talking about women, then maybe you're right and it's a gender thing. Maybe not. But it's sure not something that makes sense. You are correct about how their positions align.

I truly do not understand how any Democrat can support Hillary in the primary. Just makes no sense to me when there is a candidate that is for, and has the record to back it up, everything we have said we wanted for over a decade.

Everything we bitched about is what Sanders is bitching about. Everything we need changed is what he has stood for, voted for, introduced bills for. He is unwavering. He is honest. He wants to take the big bank, the corporatocracy and the oligarchs down, something we've been bitching to happen for years. He wants social justice and equality for all, and he has been unwavering for decades in his support, which includes bills introduced and cosponsored.

You get the idea. So I just don't get it
