Most are better off. The f-up economics started under RayGun,Obama has done the best he could with a republican and "third way" congress, too many stayed home and let congress fall wanting Obama to do it all by himself.

I know people who had pre-existing conditions and now they have healthcare, I know people who were underemployed and now they have better paying more stable jobs, I can get married now in any state I couldn't before, I know people who will be directly impacted by the new OT rules and will have a MUCH better quality of life now.

I'm sorry but it's not all fire and brimstone. People are in general doing better in most places, yes it's not perfect but to pretend things are worse now than they were 8 years ago is ridiculous.

In 2016 we should just be focused on electing the president or the "less of two evils" as you say but real change in the governorships and congress.

Lots of work to do.

7. That election was about endless war.....

The Republicans were talking about a generational conflict and expanding into Iran and Syria with a "death to all who oppose us" mindset. Hell, they were claiming anyone who shot back was guilty for 9/11. Anyone here who had a problem with the idea of endless war was disrespecting those who died on 9/11 or was a traitor.

Then you had the idiots who claimed the anti-war movement was trying to relive the 60s. Freepers were talking about going undercover at a peace march to have sex with a "Hippie Chick" and their fellow Freepers were telling them those women don't believe in bathing and stink. When you get right down to it, THEY were the ones trying to relive the 60s.
