Those pesky civil rights protestors well - we are kind of sketchy you know.

And certainly for black Americans - we've never gotten results by standing up for ourselves.

I think we should ask Lewis or Cummings - I mean . . . They know how futile civil disobedience and not stepping and fetching is.

Tons of sarcasm in my post here. But I'm assuming the OP is sarcastic.

Black on black violence (a hot topic at DU anytime a white cop or civilian shoots or harms a black person) - they would be welcome.

I suspect they would be welcome at DU too as long as they stuck to that subject and didn't bring up the silence of our 'friends'.

Republicans will never lift a finger to change things.

You'd better get used to it and the candidates had better address it or the Democratic Party can count on a large segment of the black community sitting out 2016.
