Bernie Sanders Is Part Of The Washington Establishment

He's been in CONGRESS for 25 years.

He is part of the Establishment and is running for its top spot.

It doesn't matter how he votes or wears his hair.

He is part of the Establishment.

He is running for PRESIDENT.

He is running for the nomination of the DEMOCRATIC PARTY.

He may want to reform the Establishment. But he's part of it. And if you go back to his time in Vermont (which I've done) he intentionally left the Liberty Union party and worked within the Establishment because being an outsider got him nowheres.

He is now surrounded by cameras and news media looking for footage to fit whatever narrative they have in mind.

HE IS NOW RIPE FOR ANY PROTESTOR WANTING TO GET NOTICED.

This is regardless of how he votes or wears his hair.

He has a huge media following him around. You want your cause to get some media? Bernie Sanders has media all around him right now. Cause he's running for President. He's part of the Establishment.

The Wheel is turning. Bernie the old radical who used to protest and get arrested is now getting used by protestors wanting their voice heard. I would be shocked if Bernie doesn't do a little reflection and ultimately makes a statement saying exactly this.

They all, however, are dependent on the votes of People of Color. If they ignore that, they deserve to be called out for it. Past history is meaningless during primary and general election time. Now is when they need to be paying attention to what people are asking for. Now is the time when they need to make themselves clear.

It pisses me off when Democratic candidates make bonehead mistakes of privilege that could cost them the election. They should be smarter than that.

of campaigns from the past. Its pretty relevant given the times then and now. Having lived through & voting in most of these campaigns its an interesting look back.

My Parents and Grandparents were very liberal and politically involved.
They are all gone now and I know that if they were here, they would say Bernie Sanders is closest to their ideals and ethics.
I think they might even say if he can get the support of the people to turn our government around, and working for all of it's people. He could be even more beloved than FDR. It's time to completely stop this downward spiral and bring status quo to an end. FDR did it. Yes Bernie is part of the Establishment, the part that is there to represent the people. Though he may be a loner in his righteous motives, he has never strayed from his core convictions. It's time to take a moment and realize how rare it is to have someone of his character willing to take on this challenge. I can't fathom why we might squander this opportunity.

It would be interesting to hear what is said behind closed doors. When you have a lot of power because of big money people might say one thing to your face and another when the door is closed.

When you are going against the status quo and fighting for regular people you are not going to be the most popular person.

This is more a question of working out how to move together than reconciling opposing points of view.

At what point does bringing that one mistake up cease to be friendly ribbing and bleeds into an attempt at bullying mockery?

Some one once asked me why I didn't delete that map graphic.

My response was "who the hell cares what a bunch of jerks on DU say about a mistake I made?"

It says more about you for bringing up that mistake I made (it was about 2:00 in the morning when I posted an irrelevant map along with transcript from airplane which WAS valid) than it does about me or anything else.
