...more was said in that interview than I've heard from any source discussing issues of police accountability and police misconduct.

It's a presage of the criminal justice plan O'Malley promised yesterday and I think we should look forward to that with great interest.

He talks about focus on discourtesy complaints and brutality complaints and appointing separate prosecutors and investigators to sort those out. He also outlines things he believes can help lift those areas out of poverty which involve more mobility. educational opportunities, and affordable housing. Quite an interesting and engaging interview.

involved in policing/cities/states/federal. He's the ONLY candidate with this awareness.

I think this proves that O'Malley cared. He didn't just walk away, he actually took the time to talk with the group after the incident. Why is this being ignored here on DU?
