Will Bernie Sanders use 2008 Obama playbook to beat Hillary Clinton? (VIDEO)

Last night Bernie Sanders had house parties throughout the country. Over 100,000 people signed up. I went to one in the role of a blogger and was blown away by the group of people attending. Bernie Sanders has been accused of having supporters that do not reflect the demographics of America. It seems like the Black Lives Matter protest at Netroots Nation 2015 has completely changed the character of his campaign operation.

This particular Bernie Sanders house party did not only reflect America, it reflected Houston, it reflected Texas. Moreover the stream beamed into homes throughout the country was also very diverse. Bernie Sanders has not changed his message. He enhanced it. He made it more reflective. He made it more inclusive.

Thanks.

I couldn't listen to all of it tonight, but I look forward to hearing more. What a nice person. And what a beautiful accent.

Obama was and is a centrist who is dutifully sticking to an agenda of helping the people without really challenging the status quo. He won because we progressive activists worked hard to elect a candidate more progressive than Hillary Clinton.
Bernie is not a case of choosing something less than we want, Bernie is us.
There is a class war going on in the country. The greedy class has successfully turned us into the needy class and it is clear to millenials they will suffer ever more indignities and financial hardship if we and they do not stand up to the greedy class.
Obama made it clear what his limit was, when Joe the Plumber asked if Obama meant to redistribute income. Obama supported by the greedy class as a centrist of course assured the greedy class that he would in no significant way challenge their primacy over the economic and political system.
Bernie tells it like it is. He does not say can't we all get along. Bernie names the name and that name is the greedy class of billionaires and their minions, political hacks, Wall Street bankers, Big Corporations etc.
The battle for Bernie will eclipse the scuffle for Obama. We will nor fail, our children and our world depends on our success.
But first we have to get rid of this self effacing view of ourselves as middle class. We are not middle class and to suppose there is any real distinction between parts of our needy class is itself a way to divide us, and help the greedy class.
