And it's going to be something that matters to a very tiny slice of the electorate.

We need to be aspirational. Yeah, there are terrible things happening in the world, but as Rachael Maddow would say (kinda): we must have great things in our future.

We can't solve all the problems in world right jow... Peobably not ever. But that does not mean we shouldn't be reaching for greatness.

I know you, and lots of people probably agree with me at a basic level, but I'm afraid that's all we'll get... Agreement. Meanwhile, NASA... One of the truley great things thins nation ahas built, will wither and die.

I got into aerospace primarily becuase of the space program, and i've wound up working my whole career for the DoD. I'd REALLY like to redirect my skills to pursuit of the expanse of knowledge. I work mainly in navigation and sensors... My skills would transfer!

They need more funding and it causes good jobs
