Obama Bets Big on Ground Game

Wall Street Journal: "Once again, the Obama high command is making a big bet on their ground operation. The aim is to flood the zone: open up offices in battleground states, call undecided voters, and swarm the shopping malls to register as many people as possible. In this way, Democrats hope to neutralize the Republican super PAC advantage by out-registering and out-working the GOP on the streets."

The Walker ground game was almost completely bought and paid for.

and without union manpower that's the way the GOP usually plays the game. They do media, we do ground game.

Without media buys, there would probably be no GOP today. The Dems don't play the money game as well, and in most instances don't have as much of it.

In 2008, Obama had both. Perfect Storm.

You need both an air and ground game. WI unions didn't respond to Walker's attack on the reasons for the Recall, and that ended being the reason why Obama voters voted for Walker on June 5.

The response was very positive, with many requests for buttons and stickers.

Most everyone we asked, was registered to vote.

Very few undecideds and only one "Mitt" voter.

Many are disgusted with Congress.
