A new poll reveals Bernie Sanders has moved into a statistical tie with Hillary Clinton in the state of New Hampshire
Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders is now polling within the margin of error of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
A new WMUR New Hampshire poll shows Hillary Clinton at 42% and Bernie Sanders at 36% - six points behind. But according to MSNBC, the WMUR poll of likely voters has a 5.6 point margin of error, meaning the two candidates are now statistically tied in the nation's first Primary state. Vice President Biden, who has been rumored to be considering entering the race for president, received 5% of the vote.
The last WMUR poll, taken in May, showed Hillary Clinton with 51% and Bernie Sanders with only 13% support. However, that poll gave Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren, who has repeatedly said she is not running, 20% of the vote. It appears Senator Sanders has been the recipient of her support. V.P. Biden scored 2% in the May poll.

(1,805 posts)huge crowds in red states. In Louisiana, I think he had an audience of around 10,000. When Jindal announced his presidential bid, he only got 1000.

(13,340 posts)Yes, it is close to the margin of error. But guess what? That could ALSO mean he is ahead by 12 points.
That thread title is pretty misleading, and self-serving.
Rule #1: Don't lie to yourself.
That is not to say Sanders couldn't win NH. I now think there is a good chance he does.

(13,340 posts)Easy... Nothing personal man. But I do think your thread title is not exactly accurate. You have to interpret the data in the way most favorable to your position to make that claim. And as I id, based on your criteria, I could claim Clinton leads by 12. I have to think you would find that ridiculous, becuase it would be.

But silly me, I'm the "victim".
