Would you trust a Republican to do something about this? Or police to police themselves? A Democrat gives, by fast, the best chance at what is needed, which, to quote the press release, is comprehensive criminal justice reform.

Going after the Republicans would be like arguing with the ocean to stop making waves.

Why not go after him? He's got more than a year in office, after all.

At best, they are moderate Democrats (formerly known as Republicans), at worst, simply pawns of Wall Street, the .001%, and financial institutions like 90%+ of the rest of the Beltway.

They are either pawns of the Third Way Democrats or the Republican Party.

Either way, they are not doing any good for their cause--whatever it is 'cause it certainly isn't trying to hold accountable those who have murdered unarmed African-Americans or the system that has institutionalized racism.

I missed the hubub with the Sanders BLM affair, but it seems strange that a few people want to stop the freedom of speech from Senator Sanders.

They are not going after Republican or other Democratic candidates. Also, they come across as obnoxious little twits. They do not have the passion or the stature of a MLK, Angela Davis, etc. They appear to exist to stop Bernie from presenting his message, a message that threatens the very infrastructure that these BLM people claim to be challenging. Very suspicious. This will backfire on them and on their status quo, corporate masters.
