Cheryl Mills To Destroy Emails About Boss Hillary Clinton

In a letter sent to the U.S. State Department and just filed today with U.S. federal Judge Emmet G. Sullivan, the counsel for Cheryl Mills wrote: “Ms. Mills does not believe that she has paper copies of potential records in her possession. Following our production on August 10, 2015 (of the defense counsel’s version of the electronic records), we have instructed her to delete any and all electronic records in her possession.”

That is a far stretch from a statement by Ms. Mills under penalty of perjury, and she and her lawyers are planning to delete the emails Judge Sullivan wants produced?

Judicial Watch has made an emergency filing in Judge Sullivan’s court to stop the further destruction of evidence of what may very well be assorted criminal conduct and violations of numerous federal laws.

This all just surfaced in State Department’s status report filed today in response to Judge Sullivan’s order. Yesterday evening, State finally produced some correspondence between it and Hillary’s right and left hands—Huma Abedin and Cheryl Mills. It has not produced its correspondence with Ms. Clinton, and it is now clear that Ms. Clinton, Ms. Abedin and Ms. Mills plan to thumb their noses at the Judge and the State Department. No one is “cooperating,” despite their empty rhetoric to the contrary.

4. No. They can't be destroyed at all, if govt related.

She can, and most likely will, spend some time in prison. But I'm sure the boss she's protecting will take care of her.

Is this some weird conspiracy theory that is floating around in the right or is she really going to destroy records? If so, why would she announce it? And why can't a judge issue an order prohibiting it? It seems like if this is true that it would be a big enough deal that it would be covered by NYT, Washington Post or some other legitimate media org.

The entire email mess has gotten so convoluted.

are pretty much the only 'news' sources treating this as some kind of diabolical deed.

This quote from your excerpt indicates that the law firm itself has the records:

Following our production on August 10, 2015 (of the defense counsel’s version of the electronic records)...

A Washington law firm is not going to put itself in a jackpot with a federal judge by blithely and publicly announcing (assuming that they even did) that it told its client to delete her copy of the emails, unless they themselves had the master set.

Here is the context:

"Following our production on August 10, 2015 [of the defense counsel’s version of the electronic records], we have instructed her to delete any and all electronic records in her possession.”

In other words, the Hillary campaign is hiding and will destroy any additional records that were not turned over by Hillary. Hillary's campaign is worried about leftover incriminating material. So now they are going to try to get rid of every speck.

Good luck with that!

8. It is not BS, and maybe you can intimidate your interlocutor but you will never, ever intimidate me.

BS.

It is not BS, and maybe you can intimidate your interlocutor but you will never, ever intimidate me, so don't even try.

Judicial Watch attorney Michael Bekesha raised alarm in a court filing late Friday that Wilkinson's letter said Mills planned to destory electronic copies of her work-related records on Monday. However, Wilkinson said Mills's lawyers planned to maintain a copy of the data if State would permit it.

"Following our production on August 10, 2015, we have instructed [Mills] to delete any and all electronic copies in her possession," Wilkinson wrote.

The only shredding that is occurring is occurring is occurring in the minds of Judicial Watch, the Washington Times , and other fasr right wing sources, ergo:

However, State spokesman Alex Gerlach confirmed Saturday that such a submission from the Clinton camp did arrive Friday, but wasn't immediately noticed because it went to someone who was on vacation.

State's decision to deem classified some of the emails on Clinton's server has also created a layer of complexity some may see as a Catch-22: if aides destroy the records, they could be seen as hindering ongoing investigations, but if they deliberately hang on to classified materials without authorization, they could be breaking the law.

It spreads the secret information to an even wider audience. Let's just hope Dave Kendall doesn't lose his thumb drive or talk in his sleep to his mistress, if he has one.
