"Left" wing media continue their Bernie BLACKOUT in the face of new poll showing him LEADING NH

Bernie is leading 44-37 in the new Herald Poll that was released today and recently rallied 27,000 people in LA, but you would never know if you read Americas most popular "left wing" publications.

Let's check the New York Times. Wow Look at that-- no mention of Bernie AT ALL in the political news section and no mention of this poll. A big article about Jeb! blaming Hillary for Iraq, though.

How about the Huffington Post? Oh wait that's just a GOP primary poll, not Democratic. Again we see Jeb! and Hillary plastered right in front of our faces... the presumed nominees for each respective party.

Ok ok, well TalkingPointsMemo would surely have something, right? They're good at reporting everything. Nope. Nothing.

Wow, these publications sure are left wing! /sarc As of 9:32 AM none of these publications have anything regarding the poll-- which was released almost 12 hours ago.

It's a sad statement when I have to go to "right" wing sources to actually see the poll results and an articles about Bernie. Fox News has the poll right on there front page in the header and Drudge actually has an image of the Heralds front page right above his headline. Does anyone actually believe that if a poll showed Rubio or Kasich taking the lead in NH over Trump and Jeb that they would get this same treatment? It's very transparent and shows the failure of our own media. Thank god DU is around.

1. Well, it's on RW news, so I guess that means Bernie being in the lead in NH is a "RW talking point"

and that the "firm" that did the polling has a C- from Silver in regards to accuracy, I'm not pinning my hopes on what they tell me the reality is.

Remember, the right wing believes in making their own reality to displace the reality they don't like.

And had Clinton up 44-8 when they last polled. It was polled by RKM Research.

or oppositional, or even progressive, with the possible exception of TPM when Bush was still in office. You're right. Since 2008, there are really no Left-wing American major media outlets which cover breaking news that haven't bought in to the party machines.

Giving the illusion of free press. Unfortunately this is where most older Americans get their news from.

sure there's no agenda behind it. Two Republican strategists were on CNN this morning and also brought up this one NH poll. Anna Navarro, Jeb! supporter, helpfully suggested that Biden should enter the race. It's so sweet and considerate of Republicans and their media outlets to offer these suggestions.

All media outlets should be reporting on this poll, even if its just a mention. It is NEWS as its the first poll that shows Bernie ahead. Saying it shouldn't be reported is being intellectually dishonest.

show similar results. What if it's inaccurate and an outlier? The polling firm doesn't have a stellar reputation.

I believe it's not, and that there is continued evidence that Bernie is not losing steam in NH. The polling firm is rated as a B which is a solid reputation, and again is the first poll showing Bernie ahead. It clearly should be reported by the media especially since they were so quick to say that the surge was over.

Touting this says nothing about if they are left wing or not. As one duer so eloquently put it, of course before they touted false articles about Clinton emails, the New York Times is quickly turning into the National Enquirer. Don't get me wrong, they liked them a lot the day they promoted a highly inaccurate story. Overall they are right, it isn't some left wing paper. Most of us already knew that. Funny what brings some around.
