it is an admission that she deleted e-mails herself to cover something up.

Hillary said: "You may have seen that I recently launched a Snapchat account, I love it. I love it. Those messages disappear all by themselves."

He says this seems to imply that any messages that disappeared from her computer had to be physically deleted by someone or her.

As much as I tried to convince him that it was a joke and that's not what she meant - he went home with his interpretation.

What can I further say to him to help quell his suspicions?

I wonder if there will be screen name amnesty when it's all said and done...

cali cussed at me a ton so she goes on the group "w" bench for a week. Group "w" is where they send you if you may not be moral enough to be in DU after committing your particular crime. Have fun!

65. You may become energized after the Primaries.

I think Hillary will get the Democratic Nomination. Bottom line....you detest a Republican Presidential and you are passionate about that detail. Primaries are stressful.

92. I personally expect to become energized... about downticket races.

In 2008 I was energized about Obama and did a lot of volunteering for him. By 2012 there had been too many disappointments. I used the early-voting option to vote for him in October (obviously, the disappointments paled in comparison with the Rmoney horror show), then I went to Massachusetts to volunteer for Elizabeth Warren.

In 2016, I will again vote against the Republican. If Clinton is the nominee, that will mean voting for her as the only one with a serious chance of beating the Republican. When it comes to my time and money, though, Clinton won't be competing against Bush or Walker or whomever. She'll be competing against genuine progressives in other races. I agree with you that primaries are stressful, but even after the excessive rancor subsides, Clinton would be unlikely to win that competition.

It's like going to your favorite BBQ joint craving ribs to find out they're sold out. Brisket? Sorry all out. Pulled pork? Just served the last of it an hour ago. Well, what have you got? Well, we have a rain check for the possibility of ribs in four years, interested?

I guess....

the same thing after the 2004 campaign when I finally gave myself permission to never have to vote for the lesser of two evils again.

It is a wonderfully freeing feeling.

Winning. But ultimately I just don't believe it. If we are going to be sold out to benefit the 1%, what does it matter? Oh right, a Supreme Court justice. Yeah. Not thinking I can convince myself to vote for Hillary.
Unless heck freezes over, but the way climate change is going, I think fire is more likely than ice.

93. "What does it matter?" The result in 2000 mattered to a whole lot of Iraqis.

Hillary is too hawkish but, compared with the Republicans, she's still less likely to embark on another imperialistic war.

The Supreme Court is important, too, but I understand your point that by itself it may not be enough to convince you.

I'm glad you mention climate change. Hillary would be a lot like Obama -- some good things, some bad things. Any Republican would be an unmitigated disaster. Twenty or thirty years from now, if someone (especially a young someone) asks you if you did what you could to prevent the Walker Administration from happening, you may find that explaining your vote for Jill Stein leaves you sweating, and not just because of the temperature.

But there's an even better candidate for the nomination, and I want to vote for him next November if at all possible.

We are going to lose people like Ruth Bader Ginsberg soon, and I don't want a republican naming her successor. If another puke appointee makes it to the SC, you can bet that things like marriage equality will be rolled back.

By the time primary voting comes around she will be your number one choice at this rate.

That was a d*ckish thing that a Koch-funded candidate would say.

It told so much about how she will really operate when she gets elected.
