need I remind you that Webb will draw votes and delegates away from Hillary and not Bernie? Kip Humphrey Aug 2015 #9
Doubtful. Some percentage of Bernie voters are folks who simply don't want Hillary, not ideological. stevenleser Aug 2015 #14
those folks already have an alternate in O'Malley. Webb is right of Hillary and therefore Kip Humphrey Aug 2015 #16
They may not like O'Malley for whatever reason. Webb isn't picking up voters so far so... stevenleser Aug 2015 #17
no more than your contention he is bad for Bernie. Seems Webb is nobody's problem then. Kip Humphrey Aug 2015 #19

People who'd rather attack Jim Webb, just because, then support their own candidate.

We are going to end up destroying ourselves, just watch.

I was shocked. My high school friend made a pro-Bernie post and one of his friends came on and said, "No way, he's a SOCIALIST. I'm supporting Jim Webb." My friend said take it somewhere else, he wasn't asking for a discussion. LOL.

Those voters are liable to be picked up by any contender other than Hillary.

positioned to siphon off neo-liberal Dem votes (ray gun democrats, blue dogs, etc.) from Hillary. Splitting the conservative Democratic vote will hurt Hillary and aide Bernie, IMO.

your contention that he would split the "neo-liberal Dem" votes isn't panning out.

All you haters BACK OFF!

He held the nail for Martin Luther, in 1517 so he could hammer to the door of a German church a treatise on the abuses of Catholicism.

On July 14, 1789, he caught the falling head of the beheaded Parisian governor after protesters descended on the Bastille and overtook the prison.

HE convinced Mahatma Gandhi to go on a 23-day, 240-mile journey to the coast of India to collect his own salt, which was illegal under crown laws.

HE bottled the Boston harbor water in 1773 after 45 tons of tea were dumped in, mixed it with lemonade AND, KNEW IN ADVANCE, to call it an Arnold Palmer! What an entrepreneur!!!

He has a pet emu named Fluffy!

He's a sucker for East Timor poetry.

and when he stands in the moonlight he looks like....Davey Jones...

I'm verklempt! Talk amongst yourselves

In fact, you're probably a Webb operative trying to infiltrate the board. How much is the Webb campaign paying you to post here? Huh? Huh?

I really hate that I have to spell out that this is a joke, but the level of reading comprehension at DU can sometimes be abysmal. Live long and prosper, hootinholler.
