You have two groups, Apple fanboys, and Android fanboys.
Except for a few exceptions, each group does not care for the OS of the other group, and if you view some of those threads in the mobile phone forums, they can get pretty nasty at time.
One theme between each group is that "their" operating system or hardware, came up with the feature or enhancement first, and the "competitor" is simply copying the other, without being original.
One of the constant arguments that goes on between the groups is that one OS is so much more user configurable than the other.
What really gets interesting though is when some people within a particular group, IOS or Android are not happy with a new phone or software release. The discussions get extremely heated within their own respective group.
Another one is if a flaw is presented in the design of a phone, whether accurate or not, the other side really piles it on.
Yup, I see a lot of similarities
