More candidates will give us more points of view.
And with more points of view to consider during this election, it will be better for us as a party in the long run.

If the donation pool doesn't grow along with the candidates, more candidates works to prevent more well funded challenges.

We are regularly told that one campaign has the money thing all locked up. Dismal prospects for fund-raising is likely contributing to why we aren't seeing a bigger pool of dem candidates.

On the other side, the Kochs have pledged hundreds of millions and it has worked rather like fertilizer...there are candidates popping up over there like weeds.
