He has been very active and campaigning hard.

You might want to check in here now and then:

Frankly, the deafening "food fights" taking place all over DU tend to crowd out real discussion of actual policy statements by O'Malley and others.

But hopefully that will improve as things quiet down and people realize that O'Malley's positions and accomplishments are real.

We have a long way to go in this primary.

But I find it odd that the cone of silence has extended to DU, save for the O'Malley group.

just try not to SCREAM too loudly!

(In an op-ed to be published in the Quad-City Times in Iowa, O’Malley will make his case with an implicit jab at Clinton, whose call to “enhance” Social Security is seen by some liberals as intentionally ambiguous. O’Malley will write that Democrats should expand Social Security benefits, “not cutting or merely ‘enhancing’ them.”

“As progressives, it is our responsibility to ensure that Americans who put in a lifetime of hard work are able to retire with the dignity they deserve,” O’Malley’s op-ed continues.) http://time.com/4005849/martin-omalley-social-security/

They'll do anything to distract from real issues and ignore good people working hard to effect change.

Politics has become another type of juvenile entertainment.

Hence, Trump is 24/7 and O'Malley is ignored.

Unfortunately (or fortunately), O'Malley's campaign lacks the funds to buy big chunks of media time.

To become known, one needs either free or paid media.

The best way to get gobs of free media nowadays is to act like a complete moron.

Morons are entertaining, after all. Sensible people are "boring."

You know, like the bad kid who gets attention at school, while the smart and behaved kids get ignored.

The republican party is an entertainment paradise and cash cow.

the Lassy Project. He also found time to support the largest culinary union in Vegas and troll Trump at the same time.

Here's what Rachel Maddow said about him yesterday:

and he said:

"I've been active as a presidential candidate for just 74 days, we've just begun our fight," O'Malley said to loud cheers from a standing-room only crowd. O'Malley stressed open data and civic engagement can improve government. "Our government doesn't belong to the Koch brothers, it doesn't belong to super PACs, it belongs to us," he said.

O'Malley ended his speech by saying: "Our economy is people. We are on the threshold of a new era of American progress and we are in need of renewed faith and a new leader."

He then asked the audience to join him for a beer.

Martin O'Malley Gives Boost To Immigrant Trump Hotel Workers Trying To Organize Union.IBT

Former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley took a swipe at Donald Trump on his own turf. The Democratic presidential hopeful lent his support Wednesday to a group of largely immigrant workers trying to organize a union at a Las Vegas hotel owned by the real estate mogul-turned-Republican presidential front-runner.

“There are a couple of things Donald Trump doesn’t understand,” O’Malley said at a press conference outside the Trump International Hotel Las Vegas, flanked by workers. “No. 1, if we want our economy to grow, we need to treat our workers with dignity and respect. Secondly, in every generation, new American immigrants have made our economy stronger and made our economy better.”

O’Malley called for “making it easier, not harder, for people to join unions and bargain collectively for better wages” and passing comprehensive immigration reform. The demands are clear rebukes to Trump. His hotel in Las Vegas has opposed a union drive from the city’s powerful Culinary Workers Union and his presidential campaign has launched vicious rhetorical attacks against immigrants.

The day before, he was in Iowa, laying out his 15 goals for his administration.
