Related: About this forumBernie Sanders: Criticism of Hillary Clinton is 'sexist'
"I think for a variety of reasons, Hillary Clinton has been under all kinds of attack for many, many years. In fact, I can't think of many personalities who have been attacked for more reasons than Hillary Clinton. And by the way, let me be frank and I'm running against her: Some of it is sexist," Sanders, the Vermont senator, said Sunday in an interview on CBS's "Face the Nation."

Bernie doesn't demonize HRC or do scorched earth politics. I like that he has been pushing back on the MSM when they try to get him to attack her that way.

(45,107 posts)not his supporters. A lot of the criticism directed at her by Democrats here and elsewhere on her is well deserved and she has only herself to blame for that.
I'm still looking for the defense part "I admire her. I respect her. I like her. She and I have very different points of view on a number of issues." is not defending her trustworthiness. I feel the same way about her but I sure as hell don't think she's trustworthy.

(110,159 posts)Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) said on Sunday that some of the criticism directed at his Democratic primary rival Hillary Clinton is motivated by sexism.
I cant think of many personalities who have been attacked for more reasons than Hillary Clinton, Sanders told John Dickerson on Face the Nation.
And by the way, let me be frank and Im running against her some of it is sexist. I dont know that a man would be treated the same way that Hillary is, Sanders added.
Sanders remarks came in response to a question about whether Clintons use of a private server while secretary of state has hurt her trustworthiness in the eyes of some Americans. Sanders refused to comment on the scandal or Clintons honesty, and went on to emphasize that his concerns with her as the Democratic nominee are about her policies, not personality.
I have known Hillary Clinton for 25 years. I admire her, I respect her, I like her, Sanders said. She and I have very different points of view on a number of issues.

(45,107 posts)can be deemed as sexist? I don't think any of that criticism can be sexist. Have you paid any attention to what the republican presidential contenders have said about her?
Just like Bernie I admire her, I respect her, I like her. I also have policy differences with her and I in no way want her in the White House.
