Democratic Presidential Candidate Martin O’Malley Visits 30th Iowa County.

DAVENPORT, Iowa – Democratic presidential candidate Martin O’Malley, who has visited Iowa more than any other candidate, spent time in the Quad Cities on Sunday.

O’Malley’s visit to Scott County marks the 30th Iowa County that he has visited during election season, and he says he plans on visiting as many of the state’s 99 counties as possible.

He says a lesser-known candidate usually emerges as a leader after the Iowa caucuses, and he intends on capturing that position.

“When I first got into this race, I knew that I was a new name,” O’Malley said Sunday. “But over the past 70 days, we’ve gone from 1 percent to 3 percent to 7 percent. And a successful campaign in Iowa is one that’s waged town to town, living room to living room, and that’s the kind of campaign we’re running.”

Earlier on Sunday during his visit to Davenport, O’Malley outlined his economic plan, which includes raising the minimum wage to $15 an hour across the nation.

He is out there earning votes. Hardest working candidate on the Dem side IMO. Hope he starts to catch on in Iowa.

On an aside, Hillary Clinton must have bad internal #s in Iowa because her ad was played easily every 15 minutes this weekend in IA. During one commercial break, it played twice. I still can't believe her campaign thinks talking about her mom is going to win over one voter. No one cares about your mom, Hillary.

I for one am looking for someone who will go on the record in writing as to what they plan to do if they become President. His team's policy papers are outstanding.
