Would Monsanto be a problem for a potential Clinton/Vilsack ticket or a Vilsack run down the road?

I know some DUers disapprove of Agriculture Secy. Tom Vilsack being a potential vice presidential candidate for the Democrats in 2016, or even being a presidential prospect himself in the future due to his close business ties to an agribusiness company named Monsanto, which has been unpopular by some due to it's support of genetically engineered crop seeds that can endanger health. If Vilsack is on a Hillary Clinton ticket in 2016, or runs for president himself in 2020 or 2024, would his ties to agribusiness be the major problem with his candidacy other than his dull persona? Other than that, I think he would be a decent choice, along with Julian Castro, Amy Klobuchar, Cory Booker, etc.
