(40,212 posts)There must be folks at Bain who fear subpoenas and decided they aren't taking a fall for Mitt.

(1,374 posts)I googled him and I don't think there will be any major revelations. He's anti-Obama and on the record saying that attacks on Bain "villify all of business." He'll carry water for Rmoney and quadruple-down on the lie that he had nothing to do with Bain after Feb 1999. It will be nice to see someone try to answer some tough questions on this subject though.

A former fellow top executive at Bain Capital is behind a shell corporation that donated $1 million to a group backing Mitt Romney's presidential campaign.
The executive, Ed Conrad, told Politico in a statement that he had fully funded W Spann LLC and authorized the contribution to the pro-Romney Restore Our Future PAC. Conrad made the donation, he said in the statement, "after consulting prominent legal counsel regarding the transaction, and based on my understanding that the contribution would comply with applicable laws."

(1,881 posts)who formed W Spann LLC, donated $1 million to Romney's SuperPac, and then dissolved it. He also said that we need more income inequality, not less. This guy is a piece of work, and unless he's suddenly had an epiphany, nothing will get accomplished here.

(308 posts)CNN's John King is already doing damage control for Mitt Romney.
John King had on FOUR people from Bain who said Mitt was telling the truth about leaving in 1999 for the Olympics.
This was followed by a piece on how Obama's campaign was pulling a "Swiftboat" on Mitt with their political ads that criticized Bain.
I was disgusted that they were comparing the maligning of a Vietnam Vet with the portrayal of a corporate raider.

When you are a sole owner of a company 100% of what happens at that company is 100% your responsibility.

(308 posts)CNN is doing MAJOR damage control for Romney tonight, and people are talking about it all over Twitter. They are saying that John King and David Gergen just 'did a number' on the Obama campaign and smashed their claims about Romney.
They are basically saying that Obama is a liar. If you do a search on Twitter you will see what I am talking about.
I just went on my account and Tweeted some rebuttals to John King and David Gergen and told them I was not happy about their reporting.
Others here might wish to do the same.

Eg. Accuse Obama of being a pawn of Europe and of loving the French when it is actually Romney who lived in France, speaks French, and has/had a European bank account.
