Related: About this forumI haven't seen any Bernie bumperstickers in the wild yet, but a friend just posted this on Facebook

(20,453 posts)But, then, people are not progressive here as they are up the road 12 miles in Pittsburgh.
It's that way in the little Main Streets of Amerikah, sometimes. Hardly any bumper stickers, in fact.

(1,805 posts)The city I live in is beyond conservative. Murrieta has been in the news for blocking immigrant buses filled with women and kids and for busting Andy Dick (twice). People don't use bumper stickers anyway much anymore as cars don't have metal bumpers.
I was so surprised when my physical therapist I had after having surgery said he was for Bernie. We said we'd celebrate together if he won the nomination.
If our mortgage wasn't rock bottom low, we'd be out of here in a nano-second! And we're only an hour or so from LA and from San Diego, which is also pretty conservative, but not like this.
Our state, CA, might be blue but it's awfully red around here.

(20,453 posts)Must be why we live where we do. Somebody needs to sound the clarion, so it's up to you and me.
BTW, do you have a Bernie bumper sticker? Just curious.

(11,366 posts)Saw one at the grocery store the other day and a couple on the Interstate as I go to and from work.
I don't have mine on. Need some magnetic paper. I work for a federal contractor and they frown on putting political stickers on your vehicles, so I usually affix mine to magnets and take them on and off.
But, to your post, that is one cool looking car!!!

And yes, every Bernie supporter should at least have a bumper sticker on their car. If the media won't talk about him, then we MUST show Joe Blow average American that he has supporters, and LOTS of them!

(40 posts)I've been impressed by how many Bernie bumper stickers I've seen here in the Western MD area. Figured I and my dozen or so friends and family I knew would be the only ones in town, but to my great amusement, Iv seen dozens more around already!
Also, I deliver Chinese and have proudly worn my Bernie shirt to work at least once a week since it arrived awhile back. And people give compliments quite frequently. That or ask.. Who's Bernie? Either way, Iv gotten pretty good at making my sales pitch and encouraging people every day to get on board!

(39,961 posts)truck nuts red country, and I actually talked to two people about Bernie Sanders and they were fairly excited about him. Granted, it was a younger age set because we were in McDonalds grabbing lunch, but these were people I didn't know. Just chit chatting waiting for our orders.
I rather like this:

My bumper sticker (or rather, magnet) is on the way.
