1. Good for him!

Love this quote:
"I can only imagine that the next decree from the chair will be that you can only watch Democratic presidential debates by subscribing to Netflix. I mean, this is ridiculous."

Good one.

I couldn't agree more and I don't see how pissing off voters because you refuse to hold debates - so Hillary won't stumble - is going to help her - at all.

3. Hillary now says she's in favor of more debates...

She's leaving her henchwoman Debbie to take the heat for not scheduling them. She must have promised Debbie a LOT. I sent Debbie a comment saying just that. If she thinks anyone is fooled by her "reasons" she is mistaken.

I'm glad O'Malley made that point about there being only 4 debates before the primary starts. Everyone is saying 6 debates are enough, but there are really only 4 before voting begins! It's unconscionable.

4. hrc didn't actually say she's in favor of more debates,

more like she wouldn't mind. I don't know that she'd have to promise dws a LOT, but hrc as potus would likely keep dws in her position as among tptb.

Aside from # of debates, timing is atrocious. Know how many DUers don't know O'Malley, and we're 'informed' Dems!

6. Tonight on Bill Maher Biden got a brief mention by Salmon Rushdie who said he liked him yet nada

from Bill or guests on HRC, Bernie or O'Malley. Regarding politics, mentioned were Trumpf's recent antics, Huckabee, Perry's drop out, Carly Fiorina, Rick Santorum and even pol parties in Europe like the Swedish and Danish Dem. Cons. and the ME migrant situation and Britain's far left Jeremy Corbin.

While the GOP clowns suck up most of the media time Dems. are invisible. The RW corporate media prefers Repugs. but Dems. are receiving little reporting, comparatively except Bernie's recent poll nos. in relation to HRC and O'Malley's objections to the DNC's debate weirdness.
If there were Dem. debates now like in the past, it would help with media coverage. We're losing valuable time and that benefits the Right. It's nuts! Good for O'Malley.

8. TIME And VOTES. This is making the Dem. Party look irrelevant and that's a very scary thought just

since 2008 when there were what 19 debates. How can party leaders like Pelosi, Sherrod Brown, van Hollen, John Lewis, Tim Kaine, Elijah Cummings and so many others sit back and not do something to change this? Reminds me of 3rd world political 'elections' and SA no offense. Who's in charge dammit!? Freaky..

but I have to ask the question are the Dems conceding this election? Even CNN, aka another Trump channel along with MSNBC, aired a segment a few days ago entitled 'Where are the Democrats?'

Sure seems that way as the Repubs have garnered the cable/corporate media attention for the past couple of months. Most people have never heard of O'Malley and have only heard that Sanders is a 'scary socialist' although Sander's has made inroads with the younger folk.

Only about 27 days left to register to vote in the primaries in NY, this is before the first Dem debate and intro to the candidates. Sometimes I wonder which free country we are living in.

and now, what you say, SHOCKING! COST of failing to 'advertise' Dem candidates via early debates may be HUGE! 27 days left to register to vote in the primaries in NY!!!

What fools they are, and I mean dws who is, imo, taking orders from hrc, to minimize coverage of Bernie and MO'M!

Did see polling on msnbc tonight that both 'major' Dem candidates, hrc and biden, defeat ALL of the repugs by significant margins, so that will likely cause 'dems' to continue to rest on laurels and NOT change their debate scheme.

edit: AND leaves us NOWHERE re: Congress!!!

13. Guess we can say informed citizens are a threat to the corporate candidates ...

not sure why one would want to give the other party a few months of free advertising though!

The poll questioned one Dem candidate that was running and one that the major players in the party want to run because they cannot stomach the number two candidate and will not allow debates any time soon.

I had to laugh at Clinton's comment the other day about being open to other debates because at this point, it really is too late.
