Obama up by 6% in Michigan (Rasmussen, taken July 23rd)

Good news indeed. Likely voter screen. Romney needs to flip states such as Michigan in order to win. He's running out of time. A Republican pollster named "We Ask America" has been claiming they're tied in this state.

If Rasmussen can only get them to a 6% difference then the real margin is more like 9%. Arkana Jul 2012 #4

Of all the states that are considered toss ups, Romney is only ahead in one. The state he is ahead in is South Carolina, by 2 pts. If the polling includes Rassmussen polls, then he is likely not even ahead by 2pts in South Carolina. Obama is ahead by 3-5 pts in the other toss up states. It is only going to get worse. The more people get to know Romney the more they dislike him. He might make a good impression on people from a distance that know nothing of his history of animal abuse, Seamus and Super Hit. Or people that are inclined to vote GOP. But, that leaves a lot of people that have pretty good instincts and the people that do, overwhelmingly despise Romney. I hated him ever since the Seamus story. Which btw got worse. I didn't like it when the extent of my knowledge was that he put the dog on the roof instead of the luggage. I didn't know it was a 12+ hour trip or about the mid trip hosing.

I live in Grand Rapids and if everything going on with repubs in this state don't make people scared of rmoney then I would have been worried.
