I was excited, as I watched this video, to take the opportunity to show my magnanimous nature. I

knew Hillary Clinton has taken a bit of a beating here over the past couple of days for things that my or may not be directly spawned by herself. I wanted to show Hillary as perhaps more populist minded than I gave her credit for. This video showed Bill Moyers sitting down with Elizabeth Warren. They discussed a bankruptcy bill from the 1990s. Bill Clinton was intent on seeing through some legislation that would be a low profile way to score some points with the business and finance community. After Hillary met with Liz, a meeting where liz explained that the bill would disproportionately affect single mothers who would find themselves fighting the big banks for child support from the over-extended fathers. Liz said that Hillary was one of her brightest students ever. She very quickly understood this complicated piece of legislation. When Hillary got back to the whitehouse, she was able to convince her husband that the legislation was not good. Bill vetoed the legislation. But then . . . fast forward to Hillary's time in the senate when the same bill came up again. Hillary had a change of heart. She realized she served a new master and that master was money. Hillary voted in favor of a law that would make it harder for people to file for bankruptcy. She evolved to serve the new master and she served it well. So my little tip of the hat has evolved into a sense of disappointment and a feeling that has me thinking that it just plain sounded like Hillary move. The feelgood story is going to have to wait. I'm back to angry at her again.
