And the freepers turn on Cheney for daring to criticize their beloved Sarah...

Dick Cheney: Picking Sarah Palin for VP Was 'A Mistake'
Cheney would not comment on what he told Romney and Myers, but he was harsh in his assessment of McCain's decision to pick Palin.

"That one," Cheney said, "I don't think was well handled."

"The test to get on that small list has to be, 'Is this person capable of being president of the United States?'"

Cheney believes Sarah Palin failed that test.

Some choice nuggets of their fanboy whining:
- These clowns gave us all the debt, two wars, and Obama. Go away!
- That’s right ole DC—McLame should have picked your daughter instead. Gay/Lesbo family values would have been the winning ticket on the VP slot in 08. Ask Romney to pick the daughter for VP. Ugghhhhha
- Hey Dick, you’re not supposed to dis the conservatives until AFTER the election. Didn’t you get the GOP-e memo?
- I’d like to hear what Liz Cheney has to say on this subject. Her husband has GOPe dementia. Bush and McLoser are the TWO asshats who fathered Soetoro.
- Cheney is an authority on mistakes because he certainly made more than his fair share, including some real boners, while serving as SecDef under GHWB.
- This proves, beyond a doubt, Cheney’s new heart came form a libTard.

What a bunch of assholes. They glorify Palin. Any nit wit can be governor, but she NEVER completed college. She NEVER taught Constitutional law. But I guess to these assholes knowing the Constitution is not a big deal, although they talk like it is. I bet Sarah couldn't teach them the right history of the Constitution if her fucking life depended on it.

Palin has no reading comprehension.

She did five stints at four different schools, but did get her degree. Her academic saga, per her Wikipedia bio:

After graduating from high school, Palin enrolled at the University of Hawaii at Hilo.[22] Shortly after arriving in Hawaii, Palin transferred to Hawaii Pacific University in Honolulu for a semester in the fall of 1982, and then to North Idaho College, a community college in Coeur d'Alene, for the spring and fall semesters of 1983.[23] (In June 2008, the Alumni Association of NIC gave her its Distinguished Alumni Achievement Award.)[23][24]

In 1984, Palin won the Miss Wasilla beauty pageant.[25][26] She finished third in the Miss Alaska pageant,[27][28] playing flute in the talent portion of the contest,[29] and receiving both the Miss Congeniality award and a college scholarship.[19]

She attended the University of Idaho in Moscow, Idaho, in late 1984 and early 1985, and Matanuska-Susitna College in Alaska in late 1985. Palin returned to the University of Idaho in the spring of 1986, and received her bachelor's degree in communications with an emphasis in journalism in 1987.[23][30][31][32]

God and Guns, that's all that's important to them. The rest is what's ruining this country in some of their minds.

Palin is dangerous, and I suspect Cheney, and the entire GOP hierarchy knows it.

Palin has never said no to the GOP nomination, and even indicated that she is open to the idea of being considered for nomination in a brokered convention - which is small, but still real possibility.

If Ron Paul manages get nominated at the convention by securing a plurality of delegate in five states (he officially has four now, with another two states bound for Romney, but consisting of Paul's delegates), and his other delegates refuse to vote according to primary results (all in all, he has close to 600 hundred delegates, with about 400 bound for Romney, Santorum and Newt), and with another 20% delegates abstaining, then they could potentially deny Mitt the Twit the nomination.

In which case, Palin could emerge as a very serious threat. As vacuous, shrill and dishonest as she is, Palin is loved by tea party minions, and those several hundred votes could propel her into a leading position.

The GOP leadership is perfectly aware of this, and the limitation of a Palin candidacy, as well her very shady history in Alaska - which is why she has yet to receive an invitation to speak at Tampa.

Expect more of this Palin-bashing over the next three weeks...

if she's been invited to the convention.

Ron Paul won't get his name into nomination, Sarah will never seek political office again, and Mitt Romney will attempt to electrify the convention by shitting violently all over his podium.

He will never make an accidental statement. Chances are that Cheney caught winds of a Palin attempt to press herself and the Republican 'saviour' and he's trying to publically squelch that possibility.
