(14,576 posts)The only reason I can think of is that the establishment is getting nervous about Clinton. Please don't take offense, I know you're a Clinton supporter, but that is the only reason I can think of, because he hasn't decided yet and he's clearly getting some pressure from the powers that be.
No one really wants Bernie, apparently.

(58,884 posts)I will take him at his word that he wants to be president, but I also hate to see good presidents and VP's sent off to civilian life when they still have sound minds and bodies to contribute. For example, and everyone scoffs at this, I would LOVE to see Obama elected Mayor of Chicago, or Biden serve on SCOTUS, or even back in the Senate if a presidential run doesn't work out for him.

(14,576 posts)I've often wondered what Obama will do after he leaves office. I mean, what do you do after you've been POTUS? You know, W paints his feet in the bath. HW is still supporting the Deep State and new world order he spoke of. Clinton got filthy rich with his foundation and in public speaking engagements. But look at Jimmy Carter. Not a great president, but definitely a great man.
Obama will only be 55 when he leaves office.
As to Biden, it would be good if he went back to the Senate, though I don't agree with everything he voted for. Still, the guy really does have a good heart.

(1,252 posts)Thank you.
I always get this kind of response in Bernie threads, rarely something back from whoever I responded to.

(8,879 posts)being used as evidence of a Hillary bounce and a Bernie decline. Now I see this. My head is starting to spin.

(3,190 posts)Pretty much mirror the trend lines of Iowa and NH polls. The trends definitely favor Bernie where he has intercected Hillary in Iowa and surpassed her in NH, and appear to be in the same course nationally.
National polls are dodgy at this point, but the overall trend is telling.

(19,926 posts)If you're not inclined to vote, the same old same old with so much negative baggage certainly isn't going to inspire you to want to get out there and vote. But someone like Bernie, who is fresh and authentic and fighting for your well being, well he can get the "wouldn't votes" excited enough to change their minds.

(45,251 posts)may be losing ground. Let's run another female establishment Dem, who is much less well-known. Yeah, that's the ticket!
Talk about tone deaf.

(1,539 posts)Notice that Biden and Hillary go up and down together and Bernie does the opposite.
This indicates that Bernie will gain a lot if Biden isn't counted. Of course life in much more complicated.

(32,723 posts)They seem to be people who are former Hillary supporters who don't want her anymore but don't seem to be crossovers to anyone else. When her numbers go up, no votes go down and vice-versa.
Biden hasn't gotten a bump either. So much for continuing the Obama administration policies under his veep.
