Being a big fan of dogs, this really pissed me off. I hope the people in his district in Iowa vote his ass out of office.

Most recently, he fought legislation that would make it illegal to bring a child to an animal fight. He has also set aside his love for states rights in order to forbid localities from enacting anti-animal torture standards.

usually you can find one redeeming characteristic, never with this one.
i challenge you to find one redeeming quality. it will be a long search!

In 2006 he voted against the Animal Fighting Enforcement Prohibition Act, which strengthened the penalties for illegal dogfighting and cockfighting, making it a felony to transport animals across state lines for these gruesome and barbaric fights. (H.R. 137)
