The controversy around Hillary Clintons emails has been blown out of proportion, Bill Clinton has said in an interview with CNNs Fareed Zakaria.
CNN released parts of the interview with the former president who has been referred to as a secret weapon for his wifes campaign on Saturday. It was scheduled to air on Sunday, and it covered everything from the scandal over Hillary Clintons use of a private email server while secretary of state to the rise of the Republican presidential frontrunner, Donald Trump.
The surprising part of the interview came when Clinton gave a half-hearted endorsement of his wife while seeming to undermine his own judgment of US politics.
Asked if Trump who he described as master brander could be the Republican nominee for president in 2016, Clinton said: I think so.

(7,830 posts)a republican surely if her use of a private server for govt business & lack of ability to turn over all emails & the 35 freedom of information act court cases against her & the Clinton Foundation-State Dept collusion bothers you. If a republican had done it & was running for prez, it wouldn't bother -true- Democrats either. pfft. Benghazi!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You cant complain, he said. "This is a contact sport. They're not giving the job away."
See, whether or not he really, really, REALLY wants to get back on Air Force One, he knows enough to make it sound like he doesn't give a shit- AND make it sound like he means it.
Whoever the imbeciles in Hillary's campaign are who keep telling her that running on "inevitability" with a side salad of thinly velied desperation is gonna win over the electorate, they need to be fired.
