She may have seen this picture and was confused. Being a cross dresser would not help them out with LGBT voters.

Giu911iani is another northeasterner; he's not a fundie himself; his personal life has been, shall we say, colorful; and IIRC he's made some pro-choice noises. Also, he's louder and more interesting than Mittens, and I can't imagine Mittens picking someone who might upstage him. Granted, he's a d-bag like Chris Christie, and they seem to like obnoxious assholes. But I don't see the fundie/teabagger wing of the party, which is getting to be most of it, approving that choice.

the Veep choice shows who controls the candidate, himself or the bosses.
Remember 2004, when you saw John Kerry's face when he was forced to pick John Edwards and how he knew he would lose and it proved true, and Edwards could not even bring in his own state, and from moment one, his groupies took to the boards to say it should be Edwards/Kerry not Kerry Edwards.
Anyone would have been better.

We are lucky Mittens can't pick a good choice being that all the choices he has in front of him go from bad to worse.

Obama is going to be reelected with NY leading the way in a landslide. Rudy G. cannot guarantee him one vote can he?
All Rudy G. ever had was he was Mr. 911.

and guess who got Osama and saved the car industry? That was President Obama.

Rudy couldn't even use 911 to Mitt's liking, could he? Nor could he beat Biden in the veep debate.

I'm sure he's on the short list.
I'm also sure he won't get the nod.
They need someone with fundie cred, and that ain't Rudy!

Now that the President has showed the republicans up regarding the real war on terror, Giuliani has no more usefulness to them. There is NO way.. nope. Why would they want to remind voters of 9/11, because it would remind them that Bush screwed up, that the republicans spent trillions, and Obama was the one that got OBL, and that his team is the one that has managed AQ brilliantly.

Not Rudy. No way. Well.. unless Romney's campaign is truly as stupid as they seem, that is.

But isn't Guiliani pro-choice and in favor of marriage equality? That would mean turning off a good portion of the right wing- never mind how much negative dirt there is on how he treated his wives and his dealings in NYC. Anything is possible I suppose but sure seems to be a bit odd...

They use the press to float names and get inside yeas/nays first. I'm guessing they are looking for/will have to settle for a sacrificial lamb, especially with rumors of upcoming convention strife.

Look at the heavyweights calling for his tax returns. I think they are covering their behinds until 2016.
