It has to be somebody like him. Clinton's strategy is to cover all the bases, ideologically speaking. Since she is now moving to the left, she has to choose a running mate who covers her toward the center and the right. Vilsak would fit the bill perfectly. She might want to choose somebody who would play well in the south.

that it would be a blessing if he was elected over the Republican gang of idiots and Hillary Clinton.

I could be on board *easily* with a Sanders/O'Malley ticket, or even the other way around.

I was all for Hillary in 2008. If you doubt it, feel free to look at my posts from HuffPo before Ariana sold us all out. I was 100% behind her.

Now?

She has changed her mind on where she stands more often than a sidewalk hot dog vendor changes the water. It has gotten gross at this point.

Either he just lied or he spoke trash without bothering to check his facts and either thing is a bad habit for anyone who wants to gain the trust of voters. She'd need a very strong running mate. He's not it. O'Malley would work.

I like all the VP possibilities, and pretty much all the candidates running (except Webb). My only hope is that the VP pick ends up being someone who is level-headed, loyal, articulate, and who can maybe excite any D voters who HC is unable to.
