2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumHillary Clinton is winning. There is no need for her to attack anyone.
Usually it's the one losing doing the attacks.
These media stories are bullshit. end.of.story.

(44,164 posts)He had no need to attack anyone, he's going to take the opportunity to introduce himself to Democrats that don't know much about him.
If anybody is going to do negative attacks, it will be Chaffee, Webb, or O'Malley. Their support is in the single digits so they will be looking to make some noise.

We should probably cancel the primaries...

(27,816 posts)... Hillary is "paying" other people to do anything?
And who's paying all the BS "supporters" who are linking to RW articles and websites in order to disparage HRC and the Democratic Party that supports her?
Who's paying BS supporters to post vile insults on John Lewis' FaceBook page because he had the nerve to endorse his candidate-of-choice?
Who's paying the Bernistas to alert on and "hide" any factual articles that even suggest that BS is not the great "Man of the People" he pretends to be?
Put up or shut up. If you have any evidence that Hillary has "paid other people" to do anything, link or slink.

(816 posts)Where's the proof? Who's paying the Bernie people to attack Hillary? That's a constant with some here. It's hard to believe that a Democrat could evoke such vile and sustained attacks from other Democrats. Shouldn't we leave that to the repugs?
NanceGreggs
(27,816 posts)Yes, it's very hard to believe that actual Democrats would relentlessly attack a Democrat here on DemocraticUnderground.
I guess the possibility exists that certain Democrats aren't who they purport to be.

(11,175 posts)I'm always amused when Clinton supporters sanctimoniously advise other candidates' supporters to be only positive about their choice, not negative about Clinton; or when they insinuate, as in this very thread, that anyone criticizing a popular Democrat probably isn't a real Democrat.
Those people are backing the candidate who ran the infamous "3am phone call" ad --
-- against the young Senator Barack Obama. She tried to play on fear by painting him as too inexperienced to be trusted with the Presidency. Predictably, this laid the groundwork for a Republican attack ad: "John McCain's 3am ad borrows from Clinton to bludgeon Obama".
If Clinton is now pretending she has nothing negative to say about Bernie Sanders, it's not because she's so high-minded. It's because she's made a cold political calculation about what's in her interest. If that calculation changes, she'll lash out at him.
