Joe Biden's Team Met With DNC Officials This Week

http://news.yahoo.com/joe-bidens-team-met-dnc-officials-week-173004178.html

Aides to Vice President Joe Biden met with DNC officials this week to discuss the critical rules and details involved in a presidential campaign, a Democratic official with knowledge of the meeting confirmed to ABC News today.

The meeting included a discussion on the filing deadlines to appear on primary ballots. Many of the deadlines are quickly approaching with the first cutoff occurring in Alabama on November 6.

The vice president publicly remains undecided about a 2016 campaign, but the meeting with DNC officials, which was first reported by The New Yorker, is the latest example of Biden's team readying information the vice president would need to know should he decide to pursue a presidential bid.

While it’s the latest clue into Biden’s ongoing 2016 deliberations, it is common for the DNC to provide these kinds of briefings to potential candidates.

Looks like he's serious.

he is in mourning...i get it. but if he is not sure now, do we really think he is going to be sure in a couple of weeks?

i think he is trying to "run while not really running" to put off criticism for as long as possible.

its shit or get off time, joe.

But he's a good soldier, and the establishment is pushing him to be ready when the Clinton meltdown happens. TPTB aren't going to hand Sanders the nomination without a fight.

I don't see how he can pass on it. He can run now or retire forever.

Maybe he wants to retire, but I just can't imagine it.

I hope every Dem cheers on this idea no matter who they support. Biden will bring more excitement to the process and stimulate involvement.

And we are a year away from the election so he can jump in still.

with others to follow. Then there's the trivial matter of fundraising.

and I think he's known it for awhile. Right now it is about timing and gauging the political climate for the right time to announce that he is running.

A lot of interesting things happened this week IMO. At this point the press will milk whatever they can get.
