(15,558 posts)I don't really understand the value of this speculation.

(99,710 posts)Because discussing how much Hillary and Bernie sucks gets tiring for even the most hard hearted partisans.

(99,710 posts)What do the kids say? " If you don't have hatas you aren't doing anything."
Maybe he will make a mark tomorrow night..

(9,497 posts)But if he doesn't penetrate the Democratic consciousness, I think he is not long for this election.
I am baffled by his low numbers on one hand, but the media hasn't been interested and his social media hasn't caught fire.
But I will be at a different event on Tuesday, supporting hats for chemo breast cancer patients so I will read about it after the fact.
I hope there is a good audience for it.

(99,710 posts)Bernie has attracted the passion of the Democratic left. O'Malley is seen as a generic main stream Democrat like Hillary so folks are going to go with the main stream Democrat they have known for forty years.

(28,270 posts)Joe will stay out.
Why would he piss off his party by hurting the front runner for the nomination? He is the party of last resort, I assume.
The revelation from the republicans that the BENGHAZI!11!! committee is just a black ops front to stop Hillary from becoming prez has helped her immensely I think and makes Joe's entry into the race moot.

(9,497 posts)I think there is still a part of Joe that wants to be President Biden. He has run before and he is the sitting VP....

(28,270 posts)to become president unless you have delusions of grandeur anyway.
I think he would get off to an unrecoverable bad start if he bumped off the front runner of his own party. If she were in big trouble, that's a different story. But Hillary is leading in all the polls so...
I'm sure the republicans are praying to ayn rand that Joe jumps into the race though.

(45 posts)The press is pushing Joe Biden like they were trying to push Elizabeth Warren. Not going to work.

(50,414 posts)She has to do some serious CYA and double-talk at the debate to avoid another tepid Democrat challenging her for the "moderate" vote.
