CNN/Cooper/Bash are doing a terrible job with this debate.

Different questions for different candidates. Trying to stir up fights. No room to let each candidate contrast each other.

Webb just called them on it. It's a terrible format. The DNC should start dictating how these debates will be run in the future. This is a media spectacle, not a debate.

This is not a tea party.

They are supposed to disagree.

They are being civil. Differences are being highlighted. These are adults who can handle it.

it's very biased in favor of Hillary, that much is very obvious.

But okay whatever.

He started with the central questions most voters have of all the candidates. They are not the same for all of them.
Then he asked about the same subject on each, but with a mind toward their previous positions and votes, which are not identical.
His job is help voters become better informed, not cater to your candidate.

And the campaigns negotiated the terms of the debate already. The problem with debates is that the parties have far too much influenc over them. Ideally the League of Women Voters should go back to running them. Debates have been media spectacles for years now. Nothing there is new, but I think Anderson is doing well given what these things are.
