On edit: Nevermind. Found it. And yes, he can run for both under WI law apparently.

(4,167 posts)Here is the difference between LIEberman 2000/Biden 2008 and Ryan now; in those Senate races the Republicans had no chance to win and they were really never contested. Ryan's district was carried by Obama in 2008 and has Cook PVI of only R+1. Democrats should actually make an attempt to at least challenge Ryan in the congressional race so that he either decides not to run for reelection or has to waste time there campaigning instead of going around he country as the VP nominee.
