2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumI read in another thread
that DWS was responsible for freezing Lessig out of the debates.

And this question occurred to me: We know Sanders has vowed not to attack another candidate. I wonder if Lessig might not be as benevolent. Anybody here know what this guy is like in a debate? Is Lessig the one they really fear to debate?

(135,425 posts)with, his demeanor is off-putting and wonkish. He makes Sanders, with his authentic rough edges, seem suave by comparison.
Lessig wasn't included because his base consists of his immediate relatives. He makes Chaffee look like a comer.
He also has promised to IMMEDIATELY resign if he can magically "cure corruption" as POTUS. It's just a stupid campaign. I don't think most Americans want to vote for a one-issue guy who promises to quit.

(19,326 posts)He knows Bernie is already very strongly against CU and for comprehensive
campaign finance reform. .. just like he is.
To make things worse, he actually knows Bernie personally, yet pulled away
from his campaign to declare his own ONE-ISSUE candidacy..
Him being excluded is one of the very few things DWS has ever done that I
agree with.
