ABC-WAPO Poll- HRC- 54% (+12) -SBS -23% (-1) JB -16% (-5)

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2016/president/us/2016_democratic_presidential_nomination-3824.html#polls

Those results are from the pre and post debate ABC-WAPO polls and reflect an thirteen point bounce for Hillary Clinton.

P.S. As I have been saying, ad nauseum and ad infinitum , we are blessed to have such stellar candidates who continue to provide a stark contrast with their Republican opponents.

Without Biden in the field, Clinton’s support jumps 10 points to 64 percent among Democratic-leaning voters. Sanders picks up just 2 points to 25 percent.

Clinton leads Sanders among white Democrats by 49-32 percent and among non-whites by 61-13

The contrast between every one of our candidates on stage and the republicans is a thing of beauty. I was sitting there with anticipation as they gave the floor to Chafee for his opening remarks. I was thinking "Dear Lord, Chafee is who is going to get this event going." He knocked it out of the park with his opening statement. It just got better from there.

I really dislike the influence CNN had on the debate. That being said, it was a one of the most solid Presidential debates I have ever seen. It was a big league event.

Biden lost five. They went mostly if not all to Hillary.

Bernie Sanders gained one.

I predicted and I'm sure many agreed with me that Biden took his votes from Hillary, not from Sanders, and that when Biden was no longer included in the polls, Hillary's numbers would jump up.

I have even theorized that Biden was included in the polls so that at some point, the pollsters and press could show a jump in Clinton's numbers.

Voila. Here we are. That is precisely the trick that was being used.

For Bernie supporters: Bernie is right on track.

Hillary can identify all the economic and other problems in the US. With a staff as large as hers and as much money as she has, she should have analyzed just about everything that moves in the US by now.

But she is not offering concrete solutions.

It's all a thousand points of light for Hillary.

Mysteriously, employers and non-profits with the help of churches are going to solve many of our social ills according to Hillary.

That was George H.W. Bush's plan, and after implementation, he was summarily pushed out of office by, you guessed it, the irate American people.

Bernie is for real, and the American people will soon recognize just how for real he is.

Feel the Bern!

Most people are not political junkies who follow politics all the time, know policy, the candidates and where they stand on issues. Many people have not chosen who they are going to support. If they have, it's often pretty soft support and can be swayed based on new information, especially early in an election cycle.

Election year debates are a public service (or at least they used to be) that allows people to make an informed decision, and should be made as accessible to people as possible. The more debates there are, the better opportunity it is for regular people to access the information.

Debates are an opportunity for candidates to promote themselves...this, of course, means more to the lesser known candidates who often get ignored by the media. They are also great PR for the parties as a whole in promoting their candidates over the opposing party. Based upon the excellent performance by all the candidaes in the first debate, and the stark difference in intelligence and substance compared to the Repub debates, the DNC should be all for having as many debates as possible.

For the 2008 primaries, the DNC held 26 debates...26. This year, six?! Why? We've got excellent candidates who are miles above any of the clown car on the other side...why not promote that strength?

Fewer debates, without question, is an advantage for Clinton, not Sanders...and DWS is having fewer of them to give that advantage to Hil.

From Wikipedia--

Jeffrey Preston "Jeff" Bezos (/ˈbeɪzoʊs/;[5] born January 12, 1964) is an American entrepreneur and investor. He is a technology entrepreneur who has played a role in the growth of e-commerce[6] as the founder and CEO of Amazon.com, an online merchant of books and later of a wide variety of products. Amazon.com became the largest retailer on the World Wide Web and a model for Internet sales.[7] In 2013, Bezos purchased The Washington Post newspaper.[8] As of March 2015, Bezos's personal wealth is estimated to be US$ 50 billion, due in part to a recent spike in Amazon's stock price, ranking him 15th on the Forbes list of billionaires.[2]
