CNN/ORC poll: Hillary Clinton wins debate, but Bernie Sanders rises

Washington (CNN)—With the first Democratic debate in the books, a new CNN/ORC poll finds most who watched think Hillary Clinton had the best performance of the night, but her strong showing hasn't boosted her standing in the race for the party's nomination.

Clinton stands at 45% in the race for the Democratic nomination, with Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders behind her at 29%. Vice President Joe Biden, who is considering a run for presidency and did not participate in last week's debate, follows at 18%.

...

Compared with pre-debate polling, Sanders' support is up five points since mid-September, but no other candidate showed significant change.

My opinion is that Bernie clearly won the debate...but what is more important -- at least what I am seeing in this article is that even if (big IF) Hillary won a debate, Bernie wins where it counts: More supporters -- he wins with the people!

GO, BERNIE, GO!!!!!

IMO, if they had to admit this, then it's even better than the 5-point increase they are conceding!

...Hillary IMO = Prez Repuke.

Hope you and the polls the HRC supporters are touting are wrong. Hillary is bound to go down in the general and a Puke Prez will destroy our nation -- think SCOTUS.

I have no idea where you live, in my very BLUE section of L.A. County, California, the Hillary hatred is overwhelming...across the board. I have a Bernie sticker on my car and people do not hesitate to tell me how much they hate Hillary and are glad to see a Bernie sticker.

For the sake of this country, you better hope the polls you are touting are waaaaaaaaaaay off. There is no doubt in my mind she would not take the general election.

The Hillary love is amazing! People do not hesitate to tell me how much they love Hillary. I get so many compliments for the Hillary sticker on my car that I have to drive extra slowly for the safety of the people who follow me just to gaze at it!

Get over it people! She's just a woman, not a God!

...keep trying...but you are going to have to admit that as a general fact there is a great deal of Hillary hatred out there. I have not found level of that sort and kind of hatred for any other Dem currently running.

15. I lied in my post. I do not live in a 'blue section' of Philadelphia.

Philadelphia is so solidly blue, that after our mayoral primary, we started calling the Democratic candidate 'Mr. Mayor.'

16. The issue is: When was Penn (not a particular city in Penn) a solid blue state?

Yes, certain sections of the state of Penn are solid Blue...but Penn is not.

Can you please reply to the call of the question?

Have you spoken to those outside of the solid blue area as to their considerations of the candidates?

Also: Can you admit that factually there is Hillary hatred.

Note: It is not that I dislike Hillary, but I can see the negative consequences of a Hillary run for the Prez. I fear that she will and could allow for on the detested Pukes now running to completely destroy our county.
