Chris Shays endorses McMahon "I think she is a terrible candidate and . . make a terrible senator"

From DailyKos

Hah, check out Chris Shays' I-guess-you-could-sorta-call-it-an-endorsement of Linda McMahon, who just won Tuesday's GOP primary: He said he'd vote for her in the general election but added "I do not withdraw any comment that I made" during the campaign, which included gems like "I think she is a terrible candidate and I think she would make a terrible senator."

8. Even Mike Castle wouldn't endorse that witch Christine O'Donnell when she beat him

He wouldn't endorse anyone and knowing Mike he probably secretly voted for the democrat.

Shays always reminded me alot of Mike Castle. Decent Republicans.

Lincoln Chaffee was one of the few last left - and he's the governor of RI. And doing a pretty bang-up job, from what I hear.

And I know he went independent.

10. I guess that is what you call a back door endorsement. Repubs never go through the front

door. He knows she is evil. If I didn't support her I would keep my mouth shut. That alone says it all. Now he looks like a hypocrite.

He was considering impeaching vote to impeach Clinton and nearly lost in 98'. In the end he voted against all four charges.
Still, Shays is a weak person.

Chris Murphy will show McSteroids the door.

Shays is relatively decent, from what I remember. The fact that he got completely crushed by that embarassing woman (AFTER she already lost, AND in a state like CT) tells volumes about who votes in these R primaries. It's funny, but also very scary.

Now that Chris has won the Dem primary, he will be on the offense everyday from here on out.

He should get started today. Not wait for McMahon to fire her negative campaign mode.

Let Linda McMahon defend her so-called "record" and ask _EXACTLY_ how she can respresent Connecticut, not the power elite of the 1% (which the McMahons are part of)

Chris Murphy will make a much better Senator though I will miss having him as our Rep in Congress (I live in his district).

Shays is not a bad guy for a Republican but he was an old news. He lost his congressional race a few years ago and did not have the money to compete with McMahon.

is currently a U.S. Congressman from CT's 5th district. I'm in the 3rd and Rosa DeLauro is my rep but I think Chris is considered good. He is strong on women's issues, outspokenly pro-choice where McMahon says she's "mildly pro-choice," whatever the hell THAT means! She is total garbage and you have to either BE garbage or have a screw loose to vote for her...the WWE videos are incredibly horrible...
