Gibbs: Romney Can’t Criticize Obama Tone When Supported By ‘Right-Wing Nutjob Donald Trump’

Gibbs accused Wallace of being unfair and then proceeded to defend Biden’s remarks as a response to the Republican use of the word “unshackling.”

When Wallace played a recent clip of Romney accusing the president of running an “angry” campaign, Gibbs shot back: “I will not be lectured by Mitt Romney about the tone of the campaign.”

“He’s flown all over the country and said he’s not sure the president believes in America. He auctions off dinners for the birther-in-chief, right-wing nutjob Donald Trump who questions if the president was born in America.”

“I am happy to listen to charges,” Gibbs concluded, “but the lecture from Mitt Romney about the tone of the campaign is a pill too big to swallow.”

I think this cartoon sums up the GOP outrage over the tone well:

The GOP blew it if they thought everyone was going to fall behind them after calling President Obama names for 3½ years and then screaming "I'm being victimized!"

Rush Limbaugh, Insanity Hannity, Glenn Beck, Billo the Klown, all of those guys are just saying the same thing this year that they said back in 2008, in 2004, in 2000, etc., etc.

It won't stop them, but maybe it will slow them down.

The comments aren't even making sense anymore. I wonder of
Ann is helping direct their campaign. Maybe it's just the way bullies think when they are told to sit down and shut up? Once a bully, always a bully.
