And she STILL has their endorsement! (and she's ahead in South Carolina by 48 to 54% depending upon the pollster)
After meeting with the board of the National Education Association (NEA) Saturday, Hillary Clinton officially picked up the endorsement of the nations largest labor union.
As a lifelong fighter for children and families, I am deeply honored to have earned the endorsement of the National Education Association and their nearly 3 million members, the Democratic presidential candidate said in a statement. (21,054 posts)I taught school before I went to law school. I am very liberal and have always been very liberal. I refused to join the NEA about 45 years ago because they sucked. The fact that the NEA backed Hillary gives me one more reasons to not back her.
I am betting the top brass pushed for her and many members are not happy.
