President Obama Previews GOP Convention: ‘It Should Be A Pretty Entertaining Show’
During a campaign stop at Iowa State University, President Obama took some time out to address the Republican National Convention happening in Tampa this week, predicting it will be an entertaining show with no concrete plan to meet
the challenges of our time.
Obama took at the swipe at the Republicans ahead of tonights big kickoff to the event in Tampa.
This week in Tampa, my opponents will offer you their agenda. It should be a pretty entertaining show, he said at a campaign rally at Iowa State University. And Im sure theyll have some wonderful things to say about me.
But what you wont hear from them is a path forward that meets the challenges of our time.
Obama asserted that the message Republicans will unveil in Tampa will be laced with the top-down economic philosophy that failed America in the past decade.
The Obama campaign has been on the preemptive attack against the Republican ticket for days, releasing
a movie trailer-style ad over the weekend slamming Romney for attempting a do-over of his campaign at the convention.
