https://www.texastribune.org/2015/11/12/uttt-poll-cruz-trump-tied-clinton-well-ahead/Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is the first choice of 61 percent of Texas Democrats, building on her earlier support in the state and remaining well ahead of her rivals, U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont and former Maryland Gov. Martin OMalley. Sanders, running second, has been unable to change the fundamental dynamics of a primary where Clinton has the political advantage, as Barack Obama did in 2008.
I just dont see any signs of weakness, said Daron Shaw, co-director of the poll and a professor of government at the University of Texas at Austin.

Looking around at a lot of the posts today, I got the feeling that people were starting to think that Bernie actually had a chance of winning the nomination.
Sure, a 2% tick-upward (within the margin of error) is something they'd likely find encouraging ... I don't begrudge them that, of course they'd be delighted ... but to hear them tell it, they think it's now in-the-bag for Bernie.
At least they're not calling it a "surge" any more. (That always cracked me up.)

Trying to compare 2016 to 2008 is a fool's errand. Neither the race nor the polls are as similar as some would like to believe.
