It's all over but the shouting if Hillary wins East Sanderstan (aka NH).

(70,306 posts)Thanks for that! I didnt see that one.
Godhumor
(6,437 posts)I think NH is tight, so Gravis may be something of an outlier.
DCBob
(24,689 posts)It results in less than a two point lead for Hillary which sounds about right to me.
Godhumor
(6,437 posts)Like I said, I am completely onboard with the data showing NH is tight.
DCBob
(24,689 posts)RCP just does simple basic averages of latest polls. Not too sophisticated.

Lets hope the Bernsters dont get that disturbed. We need to help them understand Hillary is not the evil fascist corporatist they think she is. It reminds of how the Republicans imagined what would happen if the "evil" Obama became President.
JonLeibowitz
(6,282 posts)fascist, corporatist, and a representative of the MIC. We aren't "confused", we just don't have wool over our eyes.
DCBob
(24,689 posts)but I hope you might change your mind when we get closer to Nov next year and the choice becomes more clear.

(67,782 posts)This article by "Yves Smith" (Susan Webber) is similar to my perspective of what fascism is:
http://www.nakedcapitalism.com/2015/11/mussolini-style-corporatism-aka-fascism-on-the-rise-in-the-us.html
I will add to her representation of that corrupt and fascist system: her disdain for constitutionally protected rights such as the right to privacy (see her support of banning encryption services, a very authoritarian move). Thought there are other examples of her disdain for the right to privacy.

(51,715 posts)Some Bernie supporters appear to think Hillary will be another Hitler. And many lack humor, as evidenced by the 7-0 hide of NurseJackie's goofy cartoon. Sheesh.

(6,282 posts)On Sat Nov 21, 2015, 12:28 PM an alert was sent on the following post:
On that day, Bernie's keyboard warriors will be out in full force.

REASON FOR ALERT
This post is disruptive, hurtful, rude, insensitive, over-the-top, or otherwise inappropriate.
ALERTER'S COMMENTS
This post will continue to make things worse on the DU. It is not funny.
JURY RESULTS
You served on a randomly-selected Jury of DU members which reviewed this post. The review was completed at Sat Nov 21, 2015, 12:41 PM, and the Jury voted 7-0 to HIDE IT.
Juror #1 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: No explanation given
Juror #2 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: Holy cow NurseJackie, rough day at the hospital? Please take a timeout from DU, you are way over the top with your nastiness.
Juror #3 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: Pretty pathetic, even by current DU standards. We should keep the focus on the candidates, not demonize the supporters and their enthusiasm. Of course, one candidate is pretty weak on the issues so that explains this post.
Juror #4 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: No explanation given
Juror #5 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: Disruptive
Juror #6 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: The gory video reflects the poster's mind and others who are debasing the forum and causing people to leave.
Juror #7 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: No explanation given
Thank you very much for participating in our Jury system, and we hope you will be able to participate again in the future.

(30,481 posts)I think they should only drink if Sanders is leading in the poll. If they do it when Clinton is in the lead I would feel like I'm supporting binge drinking.

(24,689 posts)but he cant seem to grow it beyond that segment. Its not surprising though... it was clear to me from the beginning he would stall at some point. He's just too narrow and limited.
NCTraveler
(30,481 posts)As far as Democratic Party supporters he is only connecting with what we use to refer to as Kucinich supporters. He has not broadened from that support. I will say they are some of the best the party has to offer. The rest of his support is coming from outside of the party.
DCBob
(24,689 posts)But maybe a bit more than that. I dont think Kucinich ever polled as high as Bernie is now.
NCTraveler
(30,481 posts)The support above that of what we saw from Kucinich is from outside the party.
DCBob
(24,689 posts)Yes, that does appear to be the case.
NCTraveler
(30,481 posts)Paul has volunteers handing out literature at Sanders events. Sanders has taken a noticeable percentage of his support. These thing happen for a reason, not blind luck.

(42,862 posts)Even if the percentages were swapped, giving Bernie the lead, it wouldn't speak very well of Vernie's chances at getting the nomination.
DCBob
(24,689 posts)Right??
Old Codger
(4,205 posts)You seem to omit the margin for error on this one...2 points more or less are not really very telling are they.. Looks tome like pretty wide open yet and pretty damning for the coronation to take place quite yet..
DCBob
(24,689 posts)So just being close is a victory of sorts for the Clinton team.
