Ben Swann Reality Check takes a look at how the most controversial rule change in party history was not legitimately passed.
EVERYONE SHOULD WATCH THIS VIDEO!
And pass it along to everyone you know.
The video OF THE TELEPROMPTER is evidence of how corrupt and dishonest John Boehner is.

(19,458 posts)there are some pretty weird people out there. But, I think that Johnson may be getting more votes than he truly deserves because of this debacle. Romney should be glad that Paul didn't make on to many ballots. So now the rightwingers have a choice of voting for either a dick or a Johnson. classic.

(9,001 posts)Let them form their own.
Power is too concentrated with only 2 choices. If there were more than 2 parties, they would have to actually listen to their constituency (you know... the citizens) and accommodate them. As it is they know people will vote with them just to keep the other side out.

(2,921 posts)I don't know who Boner's opponent is, but that opponent should be armed with RNC shenanigans and show that Boehner cannot be trusted.

(19,458 posts)This story needs to be out there. People in the MSM need to play this video, and show how underhanded and corrupt that party is. What is it going to take for the republicans (non billionaire) voters to understand that their Party doesn't give a shit about them? I mean this is something that should send a chill up any conservative's spine, AND another wake up call that they have no problem stealing votes and elections of any kind.
So.. about Morton Blackwell, who was on that bus. For anyone that doesn't remember him, he runs the TAX EXEMPT "Leadership Institute." for some fucking reason WE the taxpayers pick up the bill for their partisan organization that teaches people how to steal elections, destroy other candidates, and basically be republicans. Morton was the "purple bandaid" guy, whose Institute produced and distributed the purple bandaids to mock Purple Heart recipients so that people would denigrate Kerry's Purple Heart.
When you have a chance, read this article about Morton Blackwell, and his Institute, and how they teach people to steal elections: http://www.salon.com/2005/05/25/blackwell_9/
That's why I find it hard to believe that HE would be fighting the RNC. More likely he duped the people on the buses, and was responsible for them not getting to the hall in time. He's in tight with Rove.

(374 posts)I think there's a huge opportunity that's being missed focusing on Eastwood and such when the real story out of the convention is the actual party business, what was done and how it was done.
It isn't just the bus and the teleprompter, it's the agenda. That vote took the ability to choose their delegates away from the states and handed it to the candidate. The whole thrust of the convention was concentrating power within the party and marginalizing the grassroots, not just the Paul people but anyone who isn't in lock-step.
People are pissed, the libertarians are livid but so are many of the tea party activists. There were a lot of uncommitted republicans waiting to see where the ticket was going to lead the party now that the primary was over, and very few of them liked what they saw, that's why there was no convention bump.
