On the Democratic side, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton widens her lead over Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont to 60 - 30 percent, compared to 53 - 35 percent in a November 4 survey by the independent Quinnipiac (KWIN-uh-pe-ack) University Poll. Former Maryland Gov. When they run out of things to be "outraged" over, they'll recycle the "Right-Arrow" hysteria again. (Usually on Thursdays, depending on your time zone.)
But... what else have they got? For them to openly and honestly express dismay at the polling results to be the same as admitting that the polling numbers are VALID.

That's all they got. Its a sign of desperation.

(30,769 posts)There is usually a new poutrage or anti-Hillary meme on the same day new poll numbers come out. Some of them are so naive they don't even realize it is happening. They just buy into it.

(8 posts)It is not possible for Hillary Clinton to have extended her lead after Killer Mike endorsed Bernie Sanders. This poll defies common sense.

(146,336 posts)The reality of national polling now is that about 93-94% of the people being polled are indicating their preference. O'Malley is getting 3-4%. That doesn't leave much room for change at this point.
Any further gains by Clinton in percentages are going to come at the expense of either Sanders or O'Malley. Looking at the aggregate poll results, Sanders' curve has flattened, while Hillary's rose. With this poll, Sanders lost a few points to Hillary, who gained about the same number of points.
There's really very little left to distribute, so the numbers are going to remain more static for some time, I think. Any movement will be give and take between Hillary and Sanders. With 90+% of the polling already allocated, there's nothing else that can happen. If one candidate rises, the other will sink.
It's pure numbers at this point. There really isn't any bloc of undecided voters that candidates can draw on now.

(25,111 posts)But HRC is getting negative attacks from the right as well as the left and still standing.
I'm voting for HRC. I voted twice for Pres O, he's still standing strong as well who is being attack from the right and left. And please don't tell me about trust and who is liked more. By the time the insane negative liars club aka GOP get a hold of BS his polling for trust and who is liked more will change as well.
Geez.

(46,585 posts)Hillary is the establishment candidate for what much-missed DUer autorank labeled The Money Party. Wall Street, the MIC, and the neocons give Hillary's candidacy a thumbs-up.
And just like 2007/08, the Clinton Wrecking Machine has given it their best shot excavating the few issues available to them to use against Bernie over and over in a demented cyclic manner to no avail. You and the MSM have got nothing of substance.
