The teenage sisters who became New Hampshire celebrities for taking a picture with every presidential candidate, have decided to use their newfound clout to endorse Hillary Clinton.
Emma and Addy Nozell took an endorsement selfie with Clinton at the Womens Economic Opportunity Summit on Thursday in Manchester, N.H.

(42,862 posts)They are wrapping-up their pop-culture 15-minutes. Reasonable people already understand that these type of endorsements are for the benefit and entertainment and motivation of those already supporting the particular candidate. That's pretty much the case with most all celebrity (and pop-culture e-celeb) endorsements.
I'm not taking it seriously at all, it's just a fun little thing that happened.
(But if you want to fling e-poo at a couple of cute girls, go right ahead. Maybe it will make you feel better. Lord knows, Bernie's fans need SOMETHING to be proud of. Surely this will do it!)

They are easily distracted by such things, and willingly so, since it's better/easier than defending the corporate war hawk Hillary

(2,570 posts)would that be in ways you can't articulate because of the obvious direct insult you're attempting to obscure with what amounts to no vagueness at all?

(24,689 posts)Its really great to see girls and young women get excited about a candidate and politics. Hillary is a tremendous role model for them and many voters might see that as a factor in choosing a candidate. Nothing at all wrong with that.. in fact its very good.

But still bragging rights to the "self absorbed teenage girl not old enough to vote crowd." Yeah team Hillary.

(17,110 posts)As for the sniping grouches- How many of you have met every presidential candidate and based your support on your experiences with them?
At least you're getting some media attention here, though.

(42,862 posts)It's just a fun thing that happened. But I guess two sweet girls who choose to use their "fame" (such as it is) to endorse Hillary make easy targets for those who don't support her. Oh well, I think they can handle it.

(51,559 posts)They managed to get selfies with 22 presidential candidates, everyone except Webb, who dropped out before coming to their state.
And after all that, they decided to endorse Hillary. Addy will be old enough to vote in November 2016 and will be a Hillary voter.
