I encourage you to take a look at these links before you talk:
One DUer said earlier that Bernie had NO WALL STREET REFORM plan so I will begin with the link to his Wall Street Reform Plan.

(631 posts)Many of Bernie Sanders policies are legislation that he has already introduced to Congress. You can find a ton of data on each.
By contrast, HRC's policies are far from direct. They seem worded to persuade without detailed descriptions: she will 'defend....', 'toughen...', 'crack down...' Yet, she didn't introduce any of this legislation while she was Senator, as far as I know. I question her commitment to any of these policies because they could be interpreted in many ways. She always allows herself a way out.

(2,720 posts)There are differences in Democratic strategies and some differences in positions between the two top candidates.
Neither side needs to misrepresent the other.

(3,649 posts)It's actually reassuring to know that some folks have resorted to "forgetting" in order to claim their candidate is better. It reinforces the idea that I've picked the right "side" in this debate.

(9,214 posts)used for justifying their support of her has been kicked out from underneath them and her. She's more electable in the general election probably being the last one to fall. They really only have gender left.
The funny thing is that some of them hated her in 2008 and attacked her viciously.

(67,782 posts)...anything. In fact, barely a word about what he wants to do. All he says there and in his stump speech is that "we have to stop this", "we have to stop that", etc.
And remember, he was in the Congress/Senate for 25 years watching "this" and "that" going on.

(57,349 posts)When you were informed that he also proposed one back in 2001 you asked why he was so inneffective and why he didn't do it every year since:

So when the op refers to "Those Who Make Uninformed Statements About Bernies Platform While Attempting to Insult Him" it looks like they're talking about people like you, George.

(10,007 posts)The go-to play: post lies about Bernie in order to drive wedges between him and various targeted demographics. They know the lies are lies; they have just convinced themselves that lying is justified when in service of their greater goal.

(13,877 posts)"war should be the last option" makes absolute sense as a foreign policy. Why would he come up with this elaborate whatever when we're not there yet. I'm very comfortable knowing that war will be our last option. That in itself says volumes based on our current and past positions.
Foreign nations deal differently with different leaders. I trust Bernie to have the best around him. Reminds me of a Henry Ford quote which I use a lot, (paraphrased, I'm sure) "I am not the smartest person in the world, but I know those who are and that's what matters."
Peace.
