(24,411 posts)...more than a year and a half ago. This was Before Sanders had decided to run.
That letter, by the way, was not an endorsement. It was from all female senators, encouraging Hillary to run. It was organized by Barbara Boxer and it was a private show of support.
Like a Hallmark greeting card saying, "You go girl!"
It was not even close to an endorsement.
More important than a symbolic letter from 2014, is Warren's absence from a Clinton fundraiser that was attended by all female senators, except Warren.
Clearly, she is not ready to endorse Hillary. If she was, she would have done so. Failing to attend that fundraiser isn't exactly a positive sign.

"Despite signing a letter that urged Clinton to run for president in 2013, Warren has so far declined to officially endorse her campaign. The senator, who liberal organizers failed to draft into a presidential campaign for much of 2014 and 2015, told CNN earlier this year that the letter she signed was not an endorsement for the Clinton campaign."

(10,751 posts)...that was trying to claim that since Elizabeth Warren signed the letter for Hillary to run for President, that was closer to an endorsement:
I am absolutely thrilled that Elizabeth Warren is lending her support to Bernie's topics. And that was my point, since that is CURRENTLY what is going on. The letter that Warren signed happened over 18 months ago.

Now, Sanders needs this endorsement much more than Hillary does. Sanders needs Democratic endorsements. His showing there is pathetic, and an endorsement from Warren would mean a lot to his campaign. Senator Warren knows this, and yet, she is not endorsing him.
That tells me she's OK with both of them.

(45,251 posts)The major determinant these days seems to be the luck of the draw as to jurors.
UglyGreed
(7,661 posts)Like I wrote in another thread I never even knew of the jury blacklist until today. Never needed protection until now. I find it odd though you can increase your blacklist if you pay for a Star membership. Money makes the world go around.....

(7,661 posts)info, I never knew of those options. Don't get me wrong, I understand the site is private and wants to make money, still I find it odd to be able to buy "protection" from juries no matter the cost. I hope you understand my point of view.

(45,251 posts)For me, the advice in that post is just too much work. But, others may want to protect themselves as much as they can.

(7,661 posts)and I thank you for that link. Better to be informed and know the rules. I should of known of this long ago and that is my own fault.

(45,120 posts)I've been noticing a new one in the alerts: "and I'm a Bernie supporter, too!"

Trust Marily on this this. You will never give that ersatz Cool Whip the time of day again!

(22,915 posts)I wonder if all the Bernistas over there who kept insisting that it was not an endorsement because all she said was:
..."whether it's attacking the CFPB, undermining new rules to rein in unscrupulous retirement advisors, or rolling back any part of the hard-fought progress we've made on financial reform, she and I agree."
...would say the same about this? Clearly not an endorsement for president in either case, clearly and endorsement of some aspect of their platform.
Anyway, if that's not an endorsement, then this isn't an endorsement:
My opinion, she likes them both and would like to influence both of them. She likes some of Clinton's ideas, and others not so much. She likes the issues that Bernie is talking about (notice, no endorsement of what he said about the issues).
